Aromas and flavors : The Château Pontac Phoenix in a colored, richly aromatic and fresh wine that can be enjoyed young but may be left in the cellar a while. It can be distinguished by its elegance but also by its balance. Its noble tannin give him flavor and length. Furthermore, traditional aging in barrels gives this wine the classicism and style of a Haut-Medoc

Degustation Notes :

Featuring a bright color, this wine is of a great finesse and very aromatic.  There are dominant notes of blackberry and blackcurrant.

Food and wine pairing :

This wine perfectly pairs your delicatessen, gourmet salads, barbecue foods and cheese.

Preservation :

Aging potential : 8 years                        Peak : 2 to 5 years

Serving :   16 - 18°

The wines should be placed lying down in a dark place and sufficiently moist at constant temperature (12°C - 14°C).

Il faudra cependant le laisser vieillir tranquillement en cave pour lui laisser le temps de révéler son potentiel.

Cru Bourgeois AOC MARGAUX 2009 :
Belle robe pourpre brillante. Beau nez floral, aèrien, texture ample. Tanins soyeux, savoureux, onctueux, frais dans ses arômes et sa texture, corps très velouté et long. Grand vin digne du millésime et du cru. Excellent, vin de garde.
